Hello! My name is Sarah Manis and I am so excited to have the privilege of being your child's teacher this year! This will be my 3rd year teaching at International Studies. I have worked in the Jonesboro School district for 7 years. I have worked at Math and Science, The Kindergarten Center, and now International Studies. I have been a paraprofessional in 1:10 and 1:15 classroom settings. I have had the opportunity to work with multiple age groups of children.
I went to college at Arkansas State University where I received my Masters degree in Special Education and my Specialist Degree in Special Education Administration.
I have a heart for teaching my sweet students. They drive me every day to be the best that I can for them. Our classroom is molded into a family throughout the year and we push one another to be great. I hold my students at a very high standard. I want them to always strive to be their best self. Each day we work through any difficulties that may be thrown at us and overcome them. I work diligently each day to keep my students motivated and help them meet their goals. I am so excited to see what this year holds for us.
